Tamilla Mavlyanova

Tamilla Bakhrilloevna Mavlyanova holds a PhD in Philology and serves as the Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute.

She is a member of the Council on Educational Programs at St. Petersburg State University, as well as a member of the Union of Translators of Russia.

Tamilla Bakhrilloevna’s professional career encompasses teaching, scholarly research, and international cooperation. Dr. Mavlyanova is the author of over 40 academic articles, including works focusing on classical Persian literature. She regularly participates in international conferences and forums, and works on educational and cultural projects aimed at advancing the humanities and strengthening international academic ties.

Dr. Mavlyanova’s monograph, *Images of the Beyond: West and East in the Poetry of Eternity*, has garnered significant acclaim among readers. Her textbook, *Methodology of Teaching Russian Language and Literature*, was published with a print run of over 1,000 copies and remains in high demand among researchers in both Uzbekistan and Russia. She also developed a teaching manual titled *Methodology of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language*.

Tamilla Bakhrilloevna was awarded a Certificate of Honor by K. Sharipov, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in recognition of her many years of dedicated service and devotion to her profession.

The Department of Russian Language and Literature at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, which she heads, was recognized as the most active department during the 2024–2025 academic year.

In 2025, in furtherance of international relations, Tamilla Bakhrilloevna Mavlyanova—acting as the representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS Member Nations—signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the Association of Translators of CIS Countries.

Tamilla Bakhrilloevna Mavlyanova is a highly respected philologist, an experienced administrator, and an active contributor to the international academic and educational community. Her professional career combines fundamental research, successful pedagogical practice, and the development of international cooperation. T.B.
